The Spice Girls are officially back and gearing up for next summer's reunion tour.

Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton are set to perform a six-date, United Kingdom stadium tour next year without Victoria Beckham.

When quizzed by Jamie Theakston about Victoria Beckham's absence from the new line-up, Mel B couldn't help but crack a joke that she would be making one surprise appearance.

"I've always said we're going to get back together", she told Evans. As we reported. the Spice Girls will tour without her.

"She's very excited for us... She supports us and we support her, it's what we are all about".

Mel B said Posh would be joining the girls for their Wembley date, to which the girls laughed.

Sadly, the rest of the group quickly noted the America's Got Talent judge was "fibbing". "Spice Girls, friendship never ends", she added.

The girls added that not taking part puts Posh in a very unique position: "She is very excited for us, and it's going to be unusual".

One of the most successful acts of the 1990s, the Spice Girls broke records with a string of number one hits including Wannabe, Say You'll Be There, Who Do You Think You Are and Spice Up Your Life.

"Girls, I've missed you", said Emma to much chatter as they walked into the studio.

When the girls appeared on Evans' show earlier Wednesday, Mel B denied that the group's Wembley Stadium gig would be their last show.

It's undeniable that a new album AND slot at Glasto would be an fantastic ending to a reunion that was only agreed a matter of days ago. "We want our fans from back in the day to enjoy it, we want new fans that we get introduced to all the'd be lovely for those people to see us on stage". Geri then teased that there might be more tour dates "if Mel B behaves herself".

"It was a huge moment in my life when they came out".
