The All Blacks were in attendance at Twickenham on Saturday for England's win over South Africa - completely unbeknownst to both Eddie Jones and the Rugby Football Union (RFU).

Wikipedia was at it again at the weekend after Angus Gardner, the referee in the Springboks' Test against England, had his entry edited to "reflect" his newfound "fame" in a uniquely South African way. We're a bloody good team.

Pollard booted South Africa, missing key men with the Test falling outside the official global window, into an early lead after Kyle Sinckler strayed offside and England were a man down with 15 minutes played when Itoje was shown a yellow card.

'We should start tackling like that and execute it like that.

Injuries have taken their toll on Jones' squad too but that gave him a chance to take a look at several players who have excelled in the early weeks of the Gallagher Premiership Rugby season - like Newcastle Falcons' Mark Wilson and Exeter Chiefs' Alec Hepburn. "If I stay long enough you're going to get me sacked, so one day you're going to be happy".

"Why is it always the most important game?"

He said: "We know they're going to have an ideal preparation for the game; they'll be up for the game". Because you want to sack me?

However, former Ireland back Luke Fitzgerald, who was forced to retire at 28 with a neck injury, said that under the new interpretation of the tackle law it should have been a "minimum of a penalty.shocking adjudicating" while Sunday Times journalist Stephen Jones described the decision as ludicrous.

However, the former Australia and Japan coach was concerned by yet another match where England conceded a raft of penalties, with lock Maro Itoje sin-binned in the first half.
