The Spice Girls will kick off a six-date United Kingdom stadium tour in June next year in Manchester as a four-piece without Victoria Beckham.

Beckham is not now involved, with only Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner signed up.

"Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012!"

The girls will do it without Victoria Beckham, though, who said to be focusing on her fashion label.

They will perform at the Edinburgh BT Murrayfield Stadium on June 8, the Bristol Ashton Gate Stadium on June 10 and London's Wembley Stadium on June 15. The much-anticipated concert will see the band kick off in Manchester, with tickets set to go on sale at 10:30am on Saturday. However, Jess Glynne will be along for the ride.

Since that time, they have been frequently reassuring fans that a reunion is happening.

This Halloween, Mel B hinted, yet again, at a reunion tour, dressing up as Posh herself, and holding a sign that read, "No I am not going on tour".

"It's just the four us that's fully confirmed", she said.

The girl group originally split in 2000 after performing for two years as a four piece, following Geri's departure.

In February, the five members posted a photo to social media, saying they were planning to work on new projects together. "I hope so. It would be a shame if she didn't".

Asked if they are heading back on tour, she said: "Yeah we are".

Spice Girls previously reunited in 2012 to perform at the closing ceremony of the London Summer Olympics.

She said: "I wasn't in a very good space with my marriage and I didn't feel I could go on any more, living in this fake world with my marriage, so I said I can't go on".

There's been excitement before that the Spice Girls would be reuniting.
