Lewis' Brilliant Response When Asked What He Eats Before Fights

After a thrilling "Fight of the Year" battle at UFC 165 in September 2013, won by Jones (21-1 MMA, 16-1 UFC), the former champ will rematch Gustafsson (18-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) for the soon-to-be-vacant light heavyweight title in the December 29 headliner, which takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

UFC 230 takes place on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Their chicken challenge goes back to July when the fighters shared the dais after they both fought on the same pay-per-view card.

"I didn't train as hard as I should have". If victorious, Cormier plans to fight one, maybe two more times before calling it a career and becoming a full-time broadcaster. "I think he's kind of a bad matchup for Whittaker. It definitely caught up to me".

Lewis fights weeks after he took 129 significant strikes (78 to the head) in his win against Alexander Volkov.

"Excuses, only excuses", Gustafsson said.

"Excuses. Only excuses. That's all I hear". That's all I hear.

"I mean, I could say I'm going to do one thing, but I'll probably do what I did with (Jimi Manuwa).

I know Cormier is a wrestler so you really got to get them hips down on him so I've been working them hips really good", he added. What about Anthony Johnson - did you beat him?

It was the first UFC heavyweight title fight at New York's historic venue, and Cormier delivered another iconic image for the photo archives. He feels passionately to this day that he should have got his hand raised and said he will leave no doubt in the rematch.

Cormier said a KO was the only way he could lose. I won the fight and I told Brock to get in here.

Although there are tremendous fights on tap this weekend at Madison Square Garden and a slew of outstanding events on the calendar before these bitter rivals finally collide in the Octagon at the end of the year, Friday's press conference lit the fuse on these explosive contests and now it's just a matter of time before the fireworks go off at UFC 232 in Las Vegas. That would likely earn Cormier the biggest payday, and why not cash-out on your way out of the fight game? I didn't like the visual of him pushing me and me flying back like that.

"There's no reason to grant him a fight", Jones said.

With a California State Wrestling Tournament being the prime focus at the beginning of the year for Cormier, will he, in fact, fight Brock Lesnar on January 26th, 2019? "I will finish this fight".

"I gave my timing to the UFC", countered Nunes, who has always maintained she would be ready to fight on this card.
