The first package addressed to CNN arrived Wednesday morning in the mailroom at Time Warner Center, home to CNN's NY offices.

CNN released a statement from its president, Jeff Zucker, saying that the package was addressed to CNN, which is headquartered in Atlanta.

Authorities have said the previous packages contained possible bombs made of six inches of PVC pipe, a small clock, a battery, wiring and what authorities termed "energetic", or possibly explosive, material. "There is no imminent danger to the CNN Center", Zucker added, again reminding staffers that all mail bound for CNN domestic bureaus is being screened off site since last Wednesday and the third package would not have come directly to CNN Center in Atlanta even had it not been intercepted.

"Our screening process is working and we will keep you updated as we learn more".

Law enforcement officials respond to a suspicious package at a U.S. Post Office facility at 52nd Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan, October 26, 2018 in New York City. The first package arrived Wednesday morning in the mailroom at Time Warner Center, home to CNN's NY offices.

CNN obtained a photo of the package, which appears to be identical to the ones sent last week to several prominent Democratic leaders and CNN's NY offices.

Sayoc, 56, is due to appear in court to face charges on Monday. All these packages had former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz's Florida office as their return address. CNN said it's having all its mail screened off-site. The item was addressed to their headquarters in Atlanta and was intercepted offsite. Prosecutors are expected to try to move his case to NY, where most of the packages were discovered.

He is accused of sending bubble-wrapped manila envelopes to Democrats such as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. He's accused of targetting prominent Democrats and critics of the President Donald Trump.

The FBI has confirmed that the package recovered at the Atlanta facility was addressed to CNN.
