The Mega Millions jackpot continues to climb after Tuesday's drawing.

The numbers for Tuesday were 3-45-49-61-69 and a Mega Ball of 9.

The Mega Millions lottery game has really earned its name. Lawson's jackpot holds the record for the largest Lottery prize ever won in MI.

The jackpot keeps swelling because nobody has won since July 24, when 11 workers in a California office shared $543 million. The chance of matching all six numbers for the Mega Millions and taking home the grand prize is one in 302.5 million.

The Powerball is set to be drawn Wednesday night. If the victor chooses the annuity option, the jackpot would be paid out over 29 years.

The biggest winning ticket from Tuesday night's drawing in Nebraska was $1,000. The results of the drawings will be available on, as well as on the Lottery's Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages, officials said. But only recently has the game been shelling out massive jackpots. North Dakotans are on the opposite end of the spectrum, spending about $44 per year on the lottery, or the lowest average figure among residents of all 50 states.

The ticket was initially worth $10,000, but the prize increased five fold after the player paid extra for the Megaplier, according to the statement. Colorado Lottery spokeswoman Kelly Tabor has referred to them as "jackpot chasers", as the Powerball jackpot swelled to the second largest in lottery history.
