David De Gea feels happy and "really loved" at Manchester United as talks over a new deal continue.

"Normally I never listen to the people who speak about me", De Gea said.

"I'm really happy to be at this club".

"I never listen to stupid things they say".

"You want to be involved for a top club, you want to be involved for your country as well and it was a disappointment, but I had to turn it into a positive to a point where I have my rest and I have a full preseason which I have not had for a while".

De Gea has been in better form for Manchester United since the start of the season, making an excellent late save at Watford last weekend to earn Jose Mourinho's side victory at Vicarage Road.

The report further states that the Serie A giants do not want to sell Perisic as the Croatian is one of their best players.

Rocked by United's strong finish to the first half, Watford pulled a goal back halfway into the second through Andre Gray but failed to find an equaliser.

The match at the Stade de Suisse will be played on an artificial surface, but Mourinho said: "We are in Switzerland, the home of one of the best ever tennis players [Roger Federer], and I'm pretty sure that the big man sometimes is not happy to play on such a surface, but he has to play and has to win".

"But we have to train today (Tuesday) to see how the balls work on this pitch and try to play our football here".

Mourinho, whose side travel to Bern to face Swiss outfit Young Boys in the Champions League on Thursday morning (Singapore time), also singled out Lukaku and Fellaini for praise. It's such a special competition.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was coming under a whole heap of pressure a couple of weeks ago after back-to-back losses against Brighton and Tottenham but the pressure has alleviated slightly after wins against Burnley and Watford put United back on track.

"We have a hard group, starting tomorrow with a hard team".

"In the second half we decreased our intensity, then the goal happened, then the game is open", he added.

The Hornets were flying high after four wins from four but they have now lost their flawless start, leaving Chelsea and Liverpool as the only two sides to have won five out of five.
