Eastern. You can stream the event live on the Internet over on Nintendo's website. These will include Super Mario Bros, Ice Climbers, and the original Legend of Zelda.

In a tweet, the company confirmed that the service will land on 18 September and said users will be able to download a seven-day trial from the Switch store before committing to a subscription.

The wireless NES controllers can be pre-ordered via Nintendo's Switch Online webpage from September 18 (September 19 in Australia) and have an expected ship date of December 2018. The Switch eShop will not be available for "up to 3 hours". It's certainly an interesting tactic but one that is not entirely new, since for years now, Nintendo has been rewarding its loyal customers with exclusives through alternate rewards programs. Nintendo will also offer a family bundle for $34.99 that allows up to eight people to use the same subscription. Afterwards, it will no longer be possible to unlink your Nintendo Account from your Nintendo Switch user profile. Originally set to launch in 2017, Nintendo ended up having to delay the service multiple times before eventually landing on the second half of September.
