Bill Clinton brings laughter and tears with Aretha Franklin anecdotes

Grande performed Franklin's hit "Natural Woman" - but her performance was overshadowed by a moment from Bill Clinton that has gone viral online. Franklin also sang at President Barack Obama's inauguration in 2009. "She took the gift God gave her and she kept getting a little bigger everyday", said Clinton, playing a snatch of her singing "Think" on his cell phone.

Barbara Sampson read a statement from former President George W. Bush, saying that Franklin would continue to inspire future generations. The comment by Trump earned several rebukes on Twitter from critics.
