Roger Federer's outfit sets tongues wagging at Wimbledon

Croatia's Donna Vekic sent the first top seed tumbling out of Wimbledon yesterday when she beat a rusty and out-of-sorts Sloane Stephens 6-1, 6-3 to claim her biggest career victory.

After impressing in the clay-court swing, the Russian opted not to play a competitive warm-up event - pulling out of the Birmingham Classic for the second year in a row - and she showed signs of rust as her fired-up compatriot took full advantage.

He is the first man in the Open era to play in the grass-court Grand Slam for a 20th straight year.

"It was windy and it was one of those days you want to start well and get that first set under your belt and start to feel more comfortable", 12-times Grand Slam champion Djokovic said. "I definitely feel a lot less pressure out there but I'm a little bit shocked at how much I nearly want that pressure". I thought I had enough power to adjust myself. I'm happy to be through. "I have no expectations".

The Swiss had lost his last four matches against Dimitrov, a semifinalist in 2014.

Defending champion Muguruza advanced with a 6-2, 7-5 victory over British wild card Naomi Broady.

ESPN 3 will stream matches from all 18 courts throughout the tournament, while ABC will broadcast its customary weekend replays for those without cable TV.

Cilic added: "I'm looking at last year's experience as a positive one and the one that I can learn from especially in my psychological approach to the match".

Sharapova has enjoyed her best results on red clay in the years since winning her maiden major title at the All England Club back in 2004, reaching the semifinals of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia and the quarterfinals of Roland Garros earlier this spring.

The American returns to the tournament for the first time since claiming a seventh title in 2016 having missed previous year to give birth to her daughter.
