He asked the company about the baby clothes in a tweet: "What kind of message are you trying to send?"

According to the International Business Times, Ryan Fournier, chairman of the group Students for Trump, found the clothing item in the website and was the first to report it.

"Wow! Walmart reveals it's true colors and promotes POTUS45 impeachment with disgusting T-Shirt".

People on social media lashed out to show their discontent with Walmart selling the political merchandise.

"These items were sold by third party sellers on our open marketplace, and were not offered directly by Walmart".

Nor is Walmart itself selling the "Impeach 45" clothing.

Trump supporters took to Twitter with the hashtag #BoycottWalmart.

It's worth noting that Walmart also sells pro-President Donald Trump apparel, too, including the president's signature red "Make America Great Again" hat.

A spokesman for Wal-Mart didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.

In the past, Walmart has issued statements after these incidents saying: "This item was sold by a third-party seller on our marketplace and clearly violates our policy".

It's not the first time Walmart has gotten into hot water for controversial t-shirts for sale on its website.

The company issued a similar statement when it came under fire past year for selling a shirt with the words "Rope".

Teespring had their shirts pulled off the Walmart website days later.
