If @rammadhavbjp is true to his word that there is no question of horse trading & clearly no new alliances are being formed then the assembly should be dissolved.

Tasaduq Rashid, a journalist from south Kashmir and resident of Mattan, said, "A majority of people in south Kashmir are disillusioned with the PDP for entering into an unholy alliance with BJP".

Hakeem Sajjad Ahmad, a prominent trader in Anantnag, said the PDP's alliance with the BJP had given birth to this turmoil.

He said a record number of one crore people performed yoga simultaneously at different places in the state today to mark the International Yoga Day. The region has seen renewed rebel attacks in recent years. Mufti's had been a party that sought engagement in discussions of fresh political territoriality to J&K, often inviting views of it being soft-separatist.

"We all know what happened in the PDP after Mufti Sb died & the sort of pressure that was applied to Mehbooba Mufti", he tweeted.

Immediately after the BJP pulled out of the government, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti resigned as chief minister.

Lauding the BJP government in Chhattisgarh, Singh said the state had developed one of a kind system for training and propagation of yoga.

Omar hit back, saying he had no doubt about his MLAs and referred to the BJP's alleged horse-trading bids in Jammu and Kashmir. "Keeping it suspended has encouraged dalals", Omar said.

Singh, the Lok Sabha MP from Lucknow, also reiterated the Modi government's resolve to ensure a complete end to militant activities in Jammu and Kashmir. As the saffron party was its partner, Kashmir polity got divided and had to depend on mandate from Jammu-where the PDP (like the NC) has very little base-to form the government. The second was making announcement for a "unilateral" ceasefire during the Muslim holy month of Ramzan. But, they committed the biggest mistake by going with the BJP, " says Iqbal Ahmad, 35 who had come from Pahalgam along with his friends to spent some time in the park. "PDP never believes in power politics and we worked for the people".

According to an official communique, Chhattisgarh cadre IAS officer B V R Subrahmanyam was appointed as the Chief Secretary of the state in place of B B Vyas, who along with K Vijay Kumar, a former IPS officer and an anti-naxal expert, were named advisers to Governor Vohra.

He said that the Central government has already sent the funds for Kashmiri pandit rehabilitation and other projects but they remain unspent.
