Warriors' Kevin Durant held back from heckling Cavaliers fan

The Cavaliers, who were powered by a 33-point performance from LeBron James, will try to become the first National Basketball Association team to come back from a 3-0 deficit and win a series.

Cavaliers center Kevin Love appeared overcome with childlike joy watching LeBron James make a spectacular dunk in the first half. The Warriors could be champions again as early as Friday night, and this crown - after experiencing plenty of turbulence this season - would most definitely be one to savor. No other player in Finals history has even done that in two consecutive games. They won a title together over the Warriors in 2016, but that was before Golden State landed Durant.

For the second straight year against the Cavaliers, Kevin Durant took, and made, that shot.

Hood shot 7-for-11 and scored 15 points off the bench in his 25 minutes, which included significant playing time in a one-possession game in the fourth quarter. Durant carried them, though, finishing with a playoff career-high 43 points.

"That was incredible what he did out there tonight", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said of Durant.

Meanwhile, the Warriors were off. Curry and Thompson continually drew iron with their jump shots, combining for seven points on 3-of-15 shooting with just one 3-pointer between them in the first half.

Having similarly delivered at this stage past year, Durant has spent the last 12 months dodging questions about whether he will ever top his 2017 display, and he now plans to do the same when asked to analyse his latest performance.

"I'm living in the moment now", James said after practice Thursday.

James essentially said you have to play the ideal game to beat the Warriors because they don't beat themselves.

"Game 3" because in Game 3s the last two years, he has just broken the Cavaliers' backs with some all-time performances.

Golden State is one win away from capturing back-to-back titles and three in the past four years. When you win a championship and you're around guys for a long period of time, and you know what you're capable of doing, all you need is to get healthy. Curry was mostly dismal, hitting 1-of-10 3-point attempts and 3-of-16 field goals to notch 11 points to go with six assists and five rebounds. "I don't know how many minutes yet he'd be able to play but he's been feeling pretty good the last two days and made a lot of improvement from where he was".

"For me, tonight will be tough", James said. But I think having guys that get so excited about a good play, a good block or a good rotation or a good shot or dagger shot.
