Ten lingering thoughts: Game 3 of NBA Finals

In an eerie replay of a year ago, Kevin Durant again delivered a long dagger 3-point shot that capped off his personal playoff career-high 43 points that led the Warriors to a 110-102 NBA Finals Game 3 victory and pushed the Cavs into a suffocating 3-0 ditch.

The Golden State Warriors grabbed a 2-0 advantage to start their annual NBA Finals matchup with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland came back from a 3-1 deficit to stun the Warriors in the 2016 finals, but that was when Durant was in Oklahoma City and James had a different supporting cast.

"It was like deja vu watching him hit that shot again", Cavs forward Kevin Love said.

JaVale McGee started his second game in a row and was productive offensively slamming home 10 points and despite playing just 14 minutes, and was the Warriors second-leading scorer until Curry hit two free throws with 11 seconds to go to limp ahead of McGee in the box score.

They were asking for trouble. Durant's first half was sick (24 points on 7-for-10 shooting, 3-for-4 from distance, eight rebounds and two assists).

A popular way to watch Rockets vs Warriors Game 3 online live streaming without cable tonight is through Hulu Live TV.

The Warriors took a 3-0 series lead with a 110-102 victory over the Cavaliers.

The Warriors can win the title with a win in Game 4 on Friday at 9 p.m. ET. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined to shoot 3-for-15 in the first half.

And despite facing all the challenging elements of a hostile road environment, the Warriors won 110-102 in game three of the National Basketball Association finals to move within one victory of their second straight championship.

The 2018 NBA Finals is only two games old, yet it is already filled with many significant storylines.

"Kevin was the story in the first half, just keeping us in the game, then he was the story in the second half as well, just closing it out", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. He added 10 rebounds and 11 assists for a triple-double, his fourth of the playoffs.

The Warriors are halfway there, holding a 2-0 lead against the underdog Cavs as the series shifts to Cleveland for Game 3 on Wednesday.

James arrived at 6 p.m. dressed more casually - camouflage trousers, purple hoodie, "Billionaire Boys Club" baseball cap - than on the road where he and the Cavs have been wearing suits during the postseason. So we've got to continue to just grind and defend as we did tonight.

Kerr said back-up swing man Andre Iguodala may be cleared to play in Game 3 after missing the last six playoff games with a knee contusion he suffered in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against Houston.

After an overtime opener loss James called one of the worst defeats of his career, the Cavaliers couldn't play Golden State as close, Curry and his teammates thwarting every threat. Cleveland is expected to put Rodney Hood back into the rotation despite his postseason 15 percent shooting from downtown.
