(Tampa Fire & Rescue/ Twitter) The two-year-old golden retriever is now the proud mum of eight puppies.

Ellie's job is normally to service her owner, but on Friday, she was the center of attention outside a bar near the F gates.

Ellie the service dog was accompanying a passenger en route to Philadelphia when her litter decided it was time to make its entrance into the world, reports Daily Mail.

Van Atter said people from all over came over to help, and thankfully she had packed towels just in case.

"Never seen anything like this".

The Tampa Fire Department also showed up to assist and all eight puppies and mom are now doing well.

Dozens of travelers at the airport were gathered around watching the delivery.

Tampa firefighters took pictures and video of the new family and posted them on twitter.

"That's the only little girl we have".

So far, Ellie has delivered five boys.

"What they lost with their luggage being on the plane.they've got a whole bunch of puppies with them now", said Penny.

Both Eleanor Rigby and Golden Nugget are service dogs to Van Atter, who suffers from mobility and pain issues, an airport spokeswoman told the publication.
