David Moyes keen to stay but Sam lacks confidence

There is "a lack of commitment" from both sides with regards to Moyes staying at West Ham, and Shakhtar Donetsk manager Fonseca is one of two managers mentioned as attracting West Ham's interest.

Express Sport understands it is unlikely the former Everton and Manchester United manager would be offered a new deal.

But the only actual information they have is words from the manager, who said a little a about it in a Ukraine press conference.

"Look at times he [Arnautovic] can be unplayable", the Scot told Sky Sports after the Everton win.

West Ham United have reportedly chose to part company with manager David Moyes after talks were held on Monday. I've enjoyed working with him.

Moyes was initially appointed West Ham boss last November following the sacking of Slaven Bilic.

"As we speak, David Moyes is on the list of managers and we will be selecting one in due course".

And it took just a few hours for the club to start talks with Moyes' replacement, as David Sullivan met with Fonseca, 45, on Monday afternoon, according to The Daily Mail.

Moyes is now out of contract with the East London outfit, but no official announcement has been made regarding his future at West Ham.

Although the Hammers flirted with relegation after a run of two wins in 12 Premier League games, seven points out of the last nine allowed the club to finish in 13th spot, nine points in front of the drop zone.
