Man Utd to let Anthony Martial leave in £80m deal?

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly approved the transfer of Frenchman Anthony Martial to Italian club Juventus this summer.

The France worldwide started the campaign in fine fettle, appearing to have rediscovered the sparkle he boasted under Louis van Gaal.

Manchester United players were back to work on Monday morning after a disappointing defeat to Brighton on Friday night.

Robert Pires believes Martial's undeniable talents are being wasted at United, and recently said: "I'm a big fan of Anthony Martial".

United will nearly certainly be hesitant to sell to Chelsea like that - especially when both of their main rivals are powered by players Mourinho has given up on - although reports suggest that there might be a way for both teams to get what they want.

The arrival of Alexis Sanchez at Old Trafford in January further threatened the 22-year-old's chance at a starting berth, with the forward also behind Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford in the pecking order.

Reports have claimed Ed Woodward is a huge admirer of the player and wants him to stay.

According to the same article, Willian was the second of the two players Mourinho wanted to bring to Old Trafford from the Blues after the Red Devils signed Nemanja Matic from Chelsea FC last summer.

Arsenal are keen to solve their defensive issues this summer and see Bailly as a potential improvement to their backline.
