Sharing Spotify Content on Instagram Just Became a Whole Lot Easier

Instagram is rolling out a slew of new features to bring Stories and chats to the next level.

While now archive posts (images and videos) for Instagram Stories are available in the form of a list with date tags, Instagram is reportedly looking to change the UI, just a bit, to help users arrange the archive better.

Another key new feature coming to Instagram is that of video chat that lets users talk on-on-one or in a small group.

Voice and video calling are very popular on WhatsApp, and we're excited to share that group calling will be coming in the months ahead.


The Instagram video chat feature is in a testing phase for now, with a global rollout coming soon. Theres a lot to look forward to on the social platform. It's the de facto place for people to share pictures of nearly everything.

Instagram is getting group video calls for the first time, and you'll also have access to AR camera effects for both photos and videos. The app will also allow for group chats to spark up a conversation.

Just tap the share button in an app like Spotify to share what you're listening to directly into the camera. You can either post to Stories or send an Instagram DM with a song/playlist/album. You can trim a video to show only the part you want to share - Stories are supposed to be short snippets and not full movies, after all - within the app, as well.

Recent, Instagram announced that soon users will be able to store their data just like Facebook. While deleting yourself from all your social networks is a ... It already has partnerships with major brands and celebrities like Ariana Grande, Lizy Kopshy, Vogue, and Buzzfeed.


Face filters, text styles and stickers help turn casual moments into experiences you can't wait to share. Questions like whether the calendar will be private and also will it be possible to view the old stories or not. Now, when you visit the Explore page, you'll be presented with a list of AI-discovered topics at the top of the feed that you are probably interested in. Once you select one, the Explore page will populate a variety of content to see across the platform.

Instagram will finally give its "Explore" section a much-needed makeover.
