Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her third child on April 23.

After Kate had given birth to the new prince, William left the hospital to go home to Kensington Palace and pick up Charlotte and Prince George, who was still in his school uniform for the first meeting.

The boy was born at 11:01 a.m.in London on Monday to Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, with her husband Prince William on hand.

Unlike Prince Harry and Royal-in-waiting Meghan Markle, we never see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge cuddle up to one another.

The Cambridges' family apartment underwent a complete refurbishment just before the birth of Princess Charlotte in 2015, but the Peter Rabbit theme is one they chose when Prince George was born.

She may only be 2 years old, but she's completely mastered her royal waving technique and is definitely living up to her princess title.

Kate, looking adoringly at her young son, between a wave and smiles, murmured that she was anxious he was getting cold in the blustery wind, and the duo headed inside, before emerging again with the prince in a vehicle capsule ready for his journey home.

In footage posted to social media, the crowd can be heard letting out a collective 'aww!' when Princess Charlotte turned around to greet them whilst walking into the entry of the hospital. Prince Charlotte approached Prince George and he put an arm around her shoulders.

According to a royal photographer, an ideal photo when Middleton leaves the hospital after delivering the new baby would be capturing the family of five. Their father, Prince William, is second while Prince Charles is second after Queen Elizabeth II.
