Special memorial held for Barbara Bush

Melania Trump and Barack Obama were joined by several generations of presidents, and their wives, to pay tribute to the late Barbara Bush, who died last week at 92.

Former US presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, current first lady Melania Trump, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and former first lady Michelle Obama were all on hand for the service.

Her husband, likewise, is remembered as a reasonable, amiable man, who perhaps didn't have his wife's star power, but nonetheless governed in a responsible way, even reversing his pledge not to lower taxes when it became clear that a tax hike was needed to offset the exploding deficits of his predecessor. "This is the funeral of Barbara Bush and you her husband there in the front, and then in the back there's all sorts of interesting alliances here".

During a Monday morning discussion, CNN hosts Alisyn Camerota and Chris Cuomo noted that President Donald Trump's week will consist mostly of diplomatic guests and visits.

Camerota showed the photo of the former presidents with their spouses at the Bush funeral.

When speaking about the first lady, however, Haberman said that she sees Mrs. Trump "looking extremely happy and smiling broadly".

But it wasn't the fact that she attended solo that got the internet talking, with the president nowhere to be seen. George H.W. Bush was also liberal on reproductive rights.

Sitting amongst a number of the White House's previous residents - including the Clintons, the Bushes, and the Obamas - Melania paid her respects to one of her predecessors at the St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston, Tex.

Many were surprised that Melania Trump was there and appeared so warm.
