"That's what defines Dwyane Wade". Embiid was on the floor with the 76ers for their morning shootaround. Embiid has been out since March 28 recovering from an orbital fracture.

According to the Sixers' official injury report, Embiid is now listed as doubtful to play in this third game of this series.

Embiid, on social media after Philadelphia's Game 2 loss at home, posted that he is "sick and exhausted of being babied".

Pack the black mask for Miami. "He's a guy who wants to play all the time".

When asked whether he was progressing toward contact, Brown replied, "Yes, he is progressing and it is such an open-ended word, I feel responsible saying yes he is progressing".

Without Embiid, the Sixers are minus their leading scorer and top defender. But the Sixers and their medial staff seem to have other ideas.

Right now, he's still questionable for Thursday night's Game 3 in Miami.

The Warriors - still missing the injured talisman Stephen Curry - outclassed a physical San Antonio from three-point range in a devastating display of scoring. Wade actually outscored the Sixers 15-13 in the second, with the 13 points scored the fewest for the 76ers in a quarter this season.

"The first game we didn't really understand the intensity we needed to bring".

"I'm a student of the game", Winslow, 22, said Wednesday after he and teammate Josh Richardson were the final two Heat players to walk off the court following practice - some 30 minutes after their teammates had cleared out.

What is interesting is that in Game 1, the Sixers had just four fast-break points, compared to 14 for the Heat. Bet the Philadelphia 76ers -2 over the Miami Heat in game 3. Remember the Sixers won 28 games last year and 10 the year before that. Miami has been willing to aggressively cheat on Philadelphia's off-ball screens in order to deny clean looks, so expect the Sixers to find some open back cuts before getting back to their 3-point launching ways. Saric broke up a pass on defense that led to a Simmons dunk and suddenly 18 straight wins was within reach.

Rookie swingman Ben Simmons, who rarely attempts to dial long distance, led the way on the offensive end with 24 points.

"I promised the city the playoffs and I'm not on the court and I may not be on Thursday either", Embiid said.

Following the game, Wade stated 76ers fans can thank comedian Kevin Hart for that vintage performance after all the trash he talked during the game.

"It's a great feeling when you go into that bag".

It's hard to think that Embiid will miss the entire first round.

"He was a graceful man".
