It may be too late to stop Manchester City's march to the Premier League title, but Tottenham Hotspur can further delay the title party and further embolden challengers next season by inflicting a fourth straight defeat on Pep Guardiola's men on Saturday.

Head coach Pep Guardiola of Manchester City gestures during the UEFA Champions League match between Feyenoord Rotterdam and Manchester City at Stadion Feijenoord on September 13, 2017 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

"I think Manchester City agreed to it but the other top teams, United and Chelsea I think, they didn't want it", he said. Real Madrid, years ago, lost six games and didn't win the league. They won three games in a row, so in sports it can always happen. You have to learn that because at the end if we were not able to do it and United win the league, all we can say is "congratulations" to United, reflect on what we have done badly in the last month and move forward.

"He was injured before the [Liverpool] game but made a huge effort to help us for 10 to 15 minutes", Guardiola said. We need five points from six games and our first chance is [Saturday] in one of the toughest games.

After the wobble, which saw City fail to secure the league title against United and get knocked out of the Champions League to Liverpool, Guardiola believes his side can get the job done soon. "It's in our hands, we don't depend on anyone else, and that's a good advantage", he said.

"We can not forget he was two months injured". "So we have six games". After losing to United, how we played against Liverpool was top.

Tomorrow they face a team in fine form, Mauricio Pochettino's side are unbeaten in the league since they were mauled 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium in December in the corresponding fixture.

"But if we score the second goal or we score two or three goals you would see how they run and how aggressive they are".

Sergio Aguero could be a big miss for City as they are one of his favoured opponent.

"He's played more due to his absence, more energy in the legs. the decisions are taken day by day and it is what it is".
