The Duchess of Cambridge could be due to give birth to her third child imminently.

Parking has now been suspended outside the hospital where Kate, 36, is expected to give birth at some point over the next three weeks as anticipation builds. "Kate is due on St George's Day which is the 23rd of April", she said (via Elle UK). Respectively, Prince William is second, and then comes his children, Prince George (third) and Princess Charlotte (fourth).

Barriers were put in place this morning outside the wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington and a series of parking restrictions have been put in place. And unlike George but like Charlotte, the media will not be allowed anywhere near the hospital wing until Kensington Palace informs us mere peasants.

The young princess will become the first female royal to retain her claim to the throne regardless of whether the Royal baby is a boy or a girl

Crowd barriers are set up on the street outside to accommodate the television crews, journalists and photographers who will be present as she goes into labour.

Road closures are also in place as we wait for the royal baby.

The due date and sex of the baby are not known, and it has been reported that William and Kate have chosen not to have their third child's gender revealed to them.

According to The Sun, bookies have leaned toward very traditional names, which is not surprising because it is common in the royal family to pass down names. However, she added the date could change as Middleton gave birth to Prince George and Princess Charlotte much later than expected. The announcement would only be made when William and Kate have informed Queen Elizabeth and other members of their families.

The exclusive Lindo Wing doesn't come cheap and the Duke and Duchess will fork out more than £5,000 per night for their stay.

Upon her arrival, Princess Kate will be tended to by Dr. Guy Thorpe-Beeston, Dr. Alan Farthing, and their medical team.

October 10 - Kate, showing a slight baby bump, makes her first public appearance since her pregnancy was announced as she attends a Buckingham Palace reception honouring mental health campaigners.
