The new images show the likes of Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Chris Evans turning casually away from the camera as Captain America, plus the nearly unrecognisable former Doctor Who companion Karen Gillan as Nebula. "Can't say too much but it's way ambitious, it'll switch tones between different groups (the Guardians sequence had a very different, look, feel and soundtrack to the NY scenes) and it's going to be amusing". Basically, the writing may well be on the wall for the Avengers' most valuable single character and it definitely deserves an investigation. The directors of the hugely anticipated event film that is Avengers: Infinity War are understandably anxious about dreaded spoilers spreading as initial preview screenings take place and the film arrives.

D23 has released a new piece of concept art for Avengers: Infinity War, which releases on April 27th. The directors shared a note with the hashtag: Thanos demands your silence. "Only a handful of people know the film's true plot". "Everyone involved with the film has worked incredibly hard for the past two years maintaining the highest level of secrecy", the duo wrote in a letter that was tweeted out.

The other three films are Disney/Lucasfilms' Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($248 million) - No. 1 on the list of top domestic openings - Star Wars: The Last Jedi ($220 million) and Universal's Jurassic World ($208.8 million).

Replying to the tweet, Tom Holland, who played Spider-Man in the Marvel films Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming, jokingly said, "This letter was originally addressed to me". The spectacular 1/6th scale Thanos collectible figure is meticulously crafted with impressive likeness based on the main appearance of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
