Hogan clearly stated that he would NOT be at WrestleMania, but didn't rule out a possible return to WWE in the future. So, it's slightly disappointing we won't get to see him compete there again for WWE four years later. He hasn't worked for the WWE since he was sacked by the company in July 2015 after a controversial sex tape was released showing him making racial slurs.

When asked if he will be watching Mania, he said: "Yes sir I will be on the beach watching Wrestlemania on the WWE network brother HH".

On Hogan's attendance at the event, WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider.com: "Hulk Hogan is an important part of Andre the Giant's history". This was his first appearance at a WWE-related event since his firing nearly three years ago, and several other WWE superstars, such as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, were there.

As noted, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan will be attending tonight's "Andre the Giant" HBO documentary premiere in Los Angeles, and it will be the first time Hogan has made a WWE related appearance since his release from the company back in 2015. As the company does every year, there will be a one-hour showing of the WrestleMania pre-show but to view the event in its entirety, a network subscription must be purchased.

"If The Rock is going to come back and do an appearance then the only thing I could see happening is it would be like an entertainment segment, where it's not overly physical or it would be like a quick match where he did with Erick Rowan at WrestleMania a few years ago".

Hogan also ruled out the possibility of a WrestleMania return on Twitter saying he will watch the show on the WWE Network instead.
