Love returns to Cavaliers following concussion

On the same night that forward Kevin Love returned from concussion protocol, point guard George Hill left the third quarter of the Cavs' matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans with an apparent lower-body injury.

The team has opted to start Love and Larry Nance in the frontcourt, sending Tristan Thompson to the pine.

Cavs shooting guard Rodney Hood averaged 14.7 points on Cleveland's recent three-game road trip.

The Cavaliers (45-30) got some good news Friday when a report said that Tyronn Lue should be making his return to the team for Friday's game against the Pelicans, though as an observer.

The fourth quarter was a back and forth affair until LeBron James woke up and took over.

This was the night James caught - and passed - a player he's spent his career chasing.

"I think records are always meant to be broken", James said.

The plan is for him to hopefully ease his way back into a full-time coaching role over the Cavs' four-game homestand that extends until Thursday, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Lue has been away from the team since March 19 due to chest pains and "other troubling symptoms".
