But on the most recent episode of ABC's reboot of the TV talent competition, some of the most awkward auditions were compiled into a montage, with one of them referencing a longtime feud one of the Idol judges has had with a rival singer. On her first episode last week, Perry planted a kiss on a contestant who really didn't want one.

Katy Perry took yet another swipe at Taylor Swift on ABC's "American Idol" Sunday night, reigniting a feud that had been dormant since August.

Perry handed the phone back to Brenns, who told his mother that he was going to Hollywood and that he was standing in front of Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan.

The contestant then added, "I love Taylor Swift".

"I am ready to let it go", Perry said. "I love her as a songwriter as.as well".

"You don't have to be sorry", Katy said.

She also complimented the Reputation artist at the time, citing her songwriting skills specifically.

KATY Perry showed off her unique fashion sense heading out in a bum bag and bright red shorts.

Many Katy Perry fans think her Witness single "Swish Swish" is a response to Taylor Swift's song "Bad Blood". "Oh, you don't have to be sorry at all", she told the contestant.

Wearing Daisy Duke cut-offs and holding a Starbucks drink, she sings a medley of Mariah Carey's "Emotions" (yes, she hits the high notes ) and Demo Lovato's "Stone Cold". Perry has gone back and forth saying "Swish Swish" is about Swift and if she is over their bad blood or not.

"I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy!"

So what's the tea Perry?
