John Cena Says WrestleMania Match Against Undertaker Can't Happen

John Cena defeated WWE Champion AJ Styles on Smackdown Live.

It shouldn't be much of a surprise if 'Taker won't be at WrestleMania this year. He was at the Royal Rumble 2018 match as well as the Elimination Chamber match on Sunday but couldn't get the job done and earn his way to WrestleMania 34. He went down for a pin and Styles could not beat the three-count, giving Cena the win, and officially making the title fight at WWE Fastlane into a six-pack match.

Cena opened the show, and he got to the point rather quickly: he wanted a spot on the WrestleMania card, and in particularly, he wanted a spot in the Fatal 5-way championship match at Fastlane to try and get there.

There's been a lot of talk over the past few days surrounding Rey Mysterio potentially returning to WWE ahead of WrestleMania, and potentially even facing John Cena on the grandest stage of them all.

Being awarded opportunities that he perhaps doesn't deserve aside, there's something else this week that Cena said which has understandably been playing on the minds of the WWE Universe.

Perhaps The Undertaker is indeed coming back for another WrestleMania, giving fans what might be the No.1 "dream match" of the last 20 years that's never come to fruition.

"As obvious as this seems, I've been told that the match is not happening because that match, once again, is impossible". The show will feature quarterfinal WWE Cruiserweight Championship tournament matches. For now, the WWE has built up huge hype around WWE Tuesday night Smackdown, where John Cena will address WWE Universe about his opponent.

Undertaker could return for one last match against Cena in what promises to be a stunning and emotional bout.

For the first time in over a decade, John Cena doesn't have a clear path to WrestleMania.

Cena, during the main event, did everything in his power to defeat The Phenomenal One including sending Styles through the announcer's table with an Attitude Adjustment.

Victorious, Cena soon found himself on the receiving end of a post-match beatdown, as Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens rushed the ring.

The free agent suggested he be added to the WWE title match at the upcoming pay per view Fastlane.
