"Don't worry, we were just backstage, and there are still a bunch of white people still to come", Haddish quipped.

With the Rihanna and Haddish seal of approval, you can be sure that we'll be seeing a whole lot more Uggs in the well as that McQueen dress.

They then riffed hilariously on white people with clipboards and headsets. It's taboo to wear it twice, ' and I said, 'I don't give a dang about no taboo'.

You might recognise the white Alexander McQueen dress with a jewelled collar from the Girls Trip premiere, or from Saturday Night Live.

"Tiffany Haddish wearing Ugg slippers and asking 'Are the #Oscars too Black now?' That's all." one person tweeted. "I'm like, 'Hey, white dude with the clipboard, check all the pages". Ahead of presenting her second award of the night, Tiffany looked down at her and told her: "I want you to be my momma one day!" "I feel so much joy in my heart". After this, let's face it; slightly lacklustre attempt at a viral Oscar's moment, the comedic duo - who were presenting Best Documentary Short and Best Live Action - couldn't have come at a better time.

"[Beyoncé] could probably call me on the phone and I'm going to act like her name is Gladys", Haddish added with a laugh. Mark Bridges, who won best costume design for Phantom Thread, ultimately made the shortest speech and was wheeled out on the Jet Ski at the end of the show, accompanied by Helen Mirren.

Girls Trip star Tiffany Haddish has already proven she likes a good deal-her Groupon loyalty even earned her a gig as the discount e-commerce site's spokesperson.

HADDISH: Oh my God, Maya, when you took a dookie in the street in "Bridesmaids", it changed my life.

RUDOLPH: There she is.
