The crowd was pretty sure the show was over, but Elton came back to let 'em know there would be no more fan interaction. But when a few fans dared to reach out and touch him as he performed the 1973 track on his piano, the fun quickly deteriorated.

According to The Mirror, one concertgoer, Matthew Jay, said: 'Holy s**t Elton John just stormed the f**k off stage.

However, David has explained it isn't the end for John as a musician, and confirmed he still has every intention to write new material - including for the stage - and even treat his fans to "one-off performances".

"I saw him say f- off to somebody", one audience member told TMZ.

But he clearly didn't enjoy the gesture and left the stage in anger.

He then proceeded to burst into "A Circle of Life".

The British singer announced in January that this will be his last world tour as he wants to spend more time with his children.

The artist is now in the middle of a long Las Vegas residency, with John playing regular gigs at The Colosseum at the famous Caesar's Palace.
