Already tensions are mounting between government officials and the relatives of the missing in the town of Dapchi in Yobe state.

Many of the Chibok girls were freed after negotiations, but more than 100 remain in captivity, their whereabouts unknown.

Parents a day earlier released names of 105 missing girls.

Abdulkadir Abubakar, a leader in the Abubakar Shekau led Boko Haram, has said he's seeking God's forgiveness after repenting from killing and kidnapping innocent Nigerians.

The military was not available for comments last night.

Part of the delegation is the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, Minister of Interior, Abdulrahaman Danbazau, Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, District Head of Dapchi Kachallah Yuroma Kamba, elders and politicians.

The aftermath of the attack saw many teachers and students who had run to seek refuge in the bush return unharmed, although about 50 of the students were no where to ound.

To compound the problem, there is yet no real confirmation of the actual number of the missing girls beyond mere conjectures.

It however, assured that, security agencies are leaving no stone unturned in the search for the schoolgirls. We will carry the parents along on the efforts we are making, " Mohammed said.

Dambazau said the delegation embarked on the trip to get the facts right "so that the approach to the solution can be correct". "We are sorry that this could have happened", said Mr Buhari in a statement.

"The entire country stands as one with the girls' families, the Government and the people of Yobe State".

"What alternative security measures were put in place to protect the people after the troops were withdrawn?"

"I haven't slept for five minutes since the attack on Monday".

"The Dapchi and Buni-Yadi attacks are similar because both attacks came weeks after the military withdrawal. 'These are the schoolgirls, ' I told myself", he said. They started telling the terrified girls they were soldiers there to help them, and shepherded them toward their vehicles.

Dapchi is the headquarters of Bursari Local Government Area of Yobe State.

The Governor said the withdrawal of personnel in Buniyadi caused the killings of the student of FGC and also the Dapchi abduction.

The Yobe state government had to apologise after mistakenly issuing a statement on Wednesday that said some of the girls had been saved by the army. "We then started running".

He and other Yobe state residents thought the military withdrawal was a sign that normal life was returning, finally.
