If you want to plop down your money right now, you'll be able to pre-purchase Burnout Paradise Remastered for the PlayStation 4 & Xbox One via the game's official website quite soon. Could this also spell a possible comeback for the Burnout series with the first new game in ten years?

If you remember playing Burnout Paradise, then there is good news for you as Burnout Paradise Remastered has been announced and is coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 16. Instead of indivual racing tracks that were a cornerstone of previous entries in the franchise, Paradise featured an open-world.

The remaster is set to retail for £34.99 across PS4 and Xbox One. This includes the extension to the drivable world via Big Surf Island.

Webster also went on to say that Burnout Paradise Remastered will have the trademark stunt driving and the speed found in other Burnout games. EA Access subscribers will be able to play for up to 10 hours starting a week early, on March 9. The game returns with 4K visuals, all the DLC (Big Surf Island, Cops and Robbers, Legendary Cars, Burnout Bikes, Burnout Paradise Toys, Burnout Paradise Party, Burnout Paradise Boost, and Burnout Paradise Cagney), and it will be available for current-gen consoles. The PC version will be available later in the year via Origin and will include all the DLC for the first time. This pretty much confirms that Burnout Paradise is coming out next month, on the PS4 at least.
