Solo: A Star Wars Story, directed by Ron Howard and starring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Paul Bettany, opens in USA theaters on May 25, 2018.

In a voiceover, Han declares, "I've been running scams on the street since I was 10", which sounds like an appropriate brag for the famous smuggler.

Following the release of the first Solo: A Star Wars Story trailer, fans are calling for it to be re-cut as a Lando film. He tweeted that fans might finally see Han Solo's Kessel Run, which he famously completed in under 12 parsecs, as well as more insight into Solo winning the Millenium Falcon away from Lando Calrissian.

His ultimate goal remains the same: he just wants to be the best pilot in the galaxy.

Woody Harrelson is Beckett and Alden Ehrenreich is Han Solo in SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY.

A series of quick shots then introduce us to Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian (the original owner of the Millenium Falcon) and Thandie Newton's mysterious character. This is how a lot of trailers for Star Wars end up dropping these days; Rogue One did the same thing. Ron Howard was named director after Disney fired co-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller during production amid rumored clashes with Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. The studio has also revealed 4 cool looking character posters from the film. Has your anticipation changed at all for Solo, or do you need to see more?

The film is scheduled to be released on May 25, 2018 - the 41st anniversary of A New Hope, where Harrison Ford first appeared as Han Solo.
